Franki Black is a South African travel writer currently based in London.  She’s worked in a Costa Rican jungle, on yachts in the Caribbean and in the African bushveld. In her spare time you’ll find her hiking somewhere in the wild or playing the guitar in a band.

Having worked in media for the last nine years, Franki’s articles have appeared in a range of international publications, such as The View Magazine, Dockwalk Magazine, The Triton, Le Point Magazine (circulation over 400 000 copies), The Weekend Argus and Travel Ideas Magazine.

Prior to moving to London, Franki worked as the Assistant Editor of Travel Ideas Magazine (a top South African publication) for four and half years. She’s presently working as a freelance copywriter, journalist and travel writer.
